A country hotel nestled in peaceful woodlands above Cornwall’s sub-tropical south coast. We offer comfortable and attractive accommodation very close to the popular town of Falmouth in Cornwall.
Built in 1872 the Penmorvah has seen many changes over the years and our latest addition is the Sundeck on the front lawn with the stunning sea views.
Positioned over six acres of enchanting gardens, we are very dog friendly and located only a mile from Maenporth Beach.

Facing south, the Sundeck gets the sun all day long and is perfect for cream teas, full afternoon tea, a light lunch or a relaxing drink with friends.
Children can play safely in the garden while you relax on the Sundeck in our comfortable, cushioned garden furniture.
Restaurant 1872
In compiling the menus, we have enjoyed using the finest local and seasonal produce to compliment flavour combinations from farther a field.
The menus have been composed to incorporate balanced garnishes and some dishes may contain nuts or derivatives of nuts.
Dining in restaurant 1872 feels like a grand occasion, as the light fades, the candlelight reflecting in all the glass against the darkening silhouettes of the woodland garden adds a romantic, fairy tale mood to the occasion.
